What is a Board Room?
The board room is the room which is used for top-level meetings. The room can accommodate up to 48 persons (24 at the table, and 24 along the walls). This space is a reflection of K-State Olathe’s determination to meet demands of the business community in executive meeting space as well as research and training. The layout of the room needs to be flexible, allowing it to adapt to the purpose for which it was designed. The room should also be fitted with the most recent technology to ensure meetings are as productive as is possible. The ambience of the room should be warm and inviting in order to encourage engagement and encourage exchange of ideas.
A boardroom must be equipped with an adequate screen to accommodate all attendees. It should also have a projector to display presentations and whiteboards to help facilitate discussions.
